Ryan Nesemeier, MD, is a double board-certified facial plastic and reconstructive surgeon at Rush who specializes in procedures of the face and neck. He earned his medical degree and completed his residency in otolaryngology – head and neck surgery at the University of Louisville School of Medicine. He completed his fellowship in facial plastic and reconstructive surgery at Indiana University School of Medicine.
Nesemeier is an expert in gender-affirming facial surgery and is highly experienced in both feminization and masculinization. As a proud LGBTQ+ provider, he is deeply committed to advocacy and representation. He uses his skills to support patients from all backgrounds, especially those from historically marginalized communities.
